Tortilla Factory – Commercial Offices

Project Overview:

The tortilla itself, as well as the logo colors, became the inspiration for the entire design project. The custom made entry rug in the bright, logo colors of red, yellow and green welcome both visitors and employees to the plant. In the reception area, the main focus is the back wall mural bursting with fields of corn and bright sunshine. Practical, maize colored leather chairs, along with a multi-tier console filled with snacks and drinks, allow visitors to wait in comfort. Contemporary brass metal and glass accent tables will hold a phone or laptop while guests wait. Proceeding to the back office areas, tortilla shaped metal wall decor, multiple art pieces in brightly hued colors, and three dimensional wall decor adorn the hallway walls. Who wouldn’t want to work in the conference room with the newly covered chairs featuring red, green and yellow upholstery fabric? Double back bookcases were styled with ceramics and glassware in the repetitive logo colors of red, green and yellow. (With a bit of flour tortilla white!) Each of the owners chose their office colors: one green and the other red. Both offices started with the same beautiful multi-colored, low pile, patterned rugs but in different colors. Each has spacious desks, comfortable, black leather office chairs, credenzas for filing paperwork, task lighting, and complementary artwork hung on commercial textured wallpaper. A sitting area for guests consists of two additional conference room chairs and small accent tables in each office as well.
