Project Overview:

This is one of the first rooms seen when entering the home. A more formal feel was desired (no TV watching in here) yet casual and comfortable enough for the family to gather, relax, read, and entertain. The aesthetic can be described as transitional, elegant, with a touch of farmhouse. The large grey sectional in performance fabric centers the room and provides ample and comfy seating. The upholstered cocktail ottoman doubles as a footrest but with the included tray can hold drinks and accessories. The rug that anchors the furniture is a lovely muted multi-colored pattern, very soft. The chair is a modified wing-back in a stunning white and grey Suzani pattern. Side tables are glass, metal, and wood. The drapery panels are white linen with a grey and black leafy/vine pattern, adding height to the room with its vaulted ceiling. Colorful art, especially the emerald green abstract pair add color and interest to the room. Above the fireplace was carefully curated with an assortment of leaning art in front of a metal arch, inspired by photos from the client.
