This main bathroom had not been updated since the home was built 25 years ago. The vanities were low, there was no place to sit to apply makeup, the shower stall was closed off and small, a huge, jetted tub was not used and there was not enough functional storage to eliminate clutter on the countertop. The bathroom was fully renovated with the same footprint. The old tub was replaced with a free standing, smaller scale tub. New cabinets were added throughout in an updated navy color that included a vanity area, built-in electric plug-in drawer for hairdryer, shelving to accommodate TV, and updated hardware. Beautiful new quartzite countertops, three separate vanity mirrors, and four updated sconces solved all the design challenges that were presented.
