Basement Guest Kitchenette

Project Overview:

Clients desired an area in their basement where visiting friends and family can enjoy some creature comforts during their stay in the downstairs guest suite area. This is a very small corner space but surprisingly enough for a small fridge, coffee maker, microwave, and bar sink. Similar to a well-appointed hotel room, their guests can access amenities without (just yet) ascending the stairs to the main kitchen. Rich black painted cabinetry, glass front doors, and a beautiful, albeit small, quartzite countertop is what was added to this less than 20 sq. ft. space! A neutral porcelain tile floor pairs well with existing carpeting. Tall wall cabinets and an oversized clock add visual height (plus storage) to this petite area.
