Indian Hills is a city in Jefferson County that has a population of approximately 2,890. The area has been considered one of the most prosperous suburbs of Louisville since the mid-20th century. The area is named after local settler John Veech’s Indian Hill Stock Farm, which was one of the largest horse farms in Kentucky.
