Master Bedroom

Location: Louisville (Beuchel), KY

Project Overview:

Contemporary, whites and greys, sleek and clean-lined. Starting with a very specific looking grey, velvet, upholstered bed, and a white custom duvet bed set. The bed wall was done in an interesting grey, white, metallic geometric wallpaper. Light grey textured nightstands with single drawers and chrome crisscrossed legs were chosen. (Holes were drilled in the drawer backs so phones could be charged to the wall w/o wires seen.) A clean-lined chandelier and simple glass pendants provide light for the room. The sliding door is addressed with a natural material sliding vertical panels in white. Abstract art, a white leather and chrome bench, and leaning mirror complete the room. The minimal accent color is a marigold yellow for the bed pillow, picking up on the gold metallic in the art. The room pairs beautifully with the redone master bathroom and closet. It’s one of the clients’ favorite rooms in their home!
