The client was tired of her flooring on both the stairs and in the foyer. Old, disproportionate furniture was placed in the space as an afterthought. She wanted to make more of an impact/impression when first entering the home plus a more updated, cohesive look. The larger, more neutral tile was replaced on the floor (as well as the back hallway and sun porch) for a more cohesive, updated look. A neutral carpet with a small pattern was installed on the staircase. Metal wall décor became the focal point above the accent table. Adding a fun, modern lamp was the perfect touch! Two coordinating artwork pieces showcasing wildflowers flank the front door and make a visual impact as you descend the stairs.
